I’d waffled on purchasing the book earlier this week. There are a lot of books in the reading queue - insert 5 other excuses here…

This shared review was the tipping point to place the order. Looking forward to reading it… likely after I get through Nate Silver’s On the Edge and Timothy Snyder’s On Freedom that just shipped this week…

Wow! That’s awesome, I’d love to hear what you think when you start it!

And very relatable, every few weeks I check out 20 or so books for the library and then only finish 1-2 😂

Paul, I'd like to send my son a copy. But he lives in Seattle, dislikes Amazon, and now only accepts "real" printed books from independent bookstores. (While the Philistine that I am gave away all my physical books and media.). How can I send him a print copy, not from Amazon?

I also just read through your publishing journey deck. Fascinating and very helpful. Thanks so much for sharing it.

you can do it online and select a local bookstore: https://bookshop.org/p/books/good-work-reclaiming-your-inner-ambition-paul-millerd/21800085?ean=9798985515381

funny thing is when you buy from actual bookstores, unless I've physiically brought the book there (printed by me from amazon at cost), then the bookstore makes 90% and author very little, if nothing :-)

amazon is actually great for self-publishers - they let me buy my book at cost and take no profit on it on the backend - so if he really wants I can send him one of those as a gift
