Nice. Some tasks are enjoyable for me & I can do 'em for multiple hours, but starting is hard. I wonder if just the frameworking of some activities as "projects" or "self-development" make 'em harder to approach, like house chores.

I think the best mentality is somewhere in between the “not sloppy is better than sloppy” and “done is better than perfect” mindsets.
Optimize for the 80% solution, where there is a general improvement in quality over time but without the need for over-analyzing every small piece.
